Broken link checker

Enter a page and we’ll check up to 50 of its links for 404s and other errors, so you can fix the dead ones before your visitors find them.

A page with many links can take up to 20 seconds. We use Cloudflare Turnstile to make sure a person is asking. We don’t store the address you check.

Why links break

Pages don’t stay put. Websites get redesigned, products are discontinued, and companies close. Affiliate programs end or move to a new network, which is the most common reason an old recommendation goes stale. Visitors who hit a dead link lose trust in your page, and you lose the commission you would have earned.

How this checker works

  • We load the page you enter and collect the links on it.
  • We check up to 50 of them, each address once, even if it appears several times.
  • We skip email, phone and in-page links, which aren’t websites.
  • Problems are listed first: broken links, then links with long redirect chains, then links we couldn’t check.

Reading the results

  • Broken: the link returned an error (like 404), timed out, or the website doesn’t exist.
  • Slow redirects: the link works but passes through three or more redirects first.
  • Not checked: we can’t visit this kind of address, for safety.
  • Some websites block automated checks. A link that works in your browser but shows an error here may be one of them. Open it yourself before you change anything.

Frequently asked questions

How many links does it check?

Up to 50 per run. If the page has more, we tell you how many we found and check the first 50 on the page.

Can it check my whole website?

No, only the one page you enter. Run it on each page you want to check. Simple Click Tracker Pro checks your tracked links all the time instead.

Why does a link show as broken when it works for me?

Some websites refuse requests from tools like this one, or ask visitors to log in or accept cookies first. Open the link in your browser to be sure.

Does it find links that load with JavaScript?

No. We read the links in the page’s own code, the same way a search engine’s first pass does. Menus and buttons that add links with JavaScript after the page loads aren’t included.

Do you keep the page or the results?

No. We don’t save the address you enter or what we find. To limit abuse we keep your IP address for up to two days to count how many checks you’ve run.

Get alerted when a link breaks

Simple Click Tracker Pro checks your tracked links continuously and tells you when one starts returning errors, so a dead affiliate link doesn’t quietly cost you sales.
